Why allergen awareness matters
It’s important we all take allergens seriously because even small amounts can pose a risk to people with food sensitivities or allergies.
Coffee machines use a variety of different ingredients – some that contain allergens, and others that simply travel through the same parts of the machine – so understanding that cross-contamination can be an issue is essential for making sure allergy sufferers are safe.
Our commitment to allergen transparency
Roast & Ground supplies all the allergen information for each product we supply. However, if your company or organization has taken responsibility for managing its coffee machines, then it is your company’s responsibility to ensure the information regarding the presence of specific allergens and the risk of cross contamination is clearly conveyed to coffee machine users.
Allergen Summary for Drinks Produced Using Our Consumables
Because ingredients share internal machine pathways (tubes, mixers, valves and so on), cross‑contamination and the presence of trace elements cannot be ruled out. Which trace allergens are applicable will depend on the specific combination of fresh milk and non-dairy options, as well as the instant products used in the machine.
Machines that use coffee beans + fresh milk (no instant options)
| Drink Type | Allergen Information |
|---|---|
| White coffee drinks | Contain MILK |

Allergen Information for Other Products
A full allergen table for all non-machine products is available HERE for your convenience. We aim to keep this up to date and accurate. Users should also check the product manufacturers’ packaging if they have specific allergies.
